New Balance offers a Protection Pack consisting of three 2002Rs featuring a deconstructed, rebuilt design. The New Balance 2002R Protection Pack Sea Salt presents a white upper combining smooth leather and suede. The edge of the panels appears to have been cut with a knife, which adds a deconstructed look to the pack. In the same spirit, we find a tongue with raw edges revealing foam. Everything is based on a slightly aged ABZORB sole. The 2002R is back strong after two collaborations with Salehe Bembury having significantly contributed to the reintroduction of the silhouette initially released in 2010.
